In 2010, the Foundation's support enabled Catholic Charities Community Services to renovate its Community Center at 120 Anderson Avenue which has served as a beacon in the community for decades.

This was the first major exterior renovation to the building in 90 years. The comprehensive project included the replacement of brick work, waterproofing and the replacement oforiginal wooden windows with thermally glazed glass. The Port Richmond Community Center houses the Senior Guild serving nearly 400 seniors annually with lunches, educational and recreational classes as well as case management for benefits and entitlements program. More than 8000 children through the Catholic Youth Organization use the facility for basketball games each year. In addition, the Center is home to an afterschoolprogram, a mobile food pantry serving nearly 10,000 persons annually across the borough as well as the location for variouscommunity fundraisers including Christmas Toy Drives and Coat Drives.
